On the podcast page you'll see that there is an RSS link for all of the mixes. Copy the URL (http://www.deadedits.com/makeshift/mixes.xml) and paste it into your preferred podcasting program on your computer. In iTunes for example, you just go to the "Advanced" menu and choose "Subscribe to podcast" and follow the instructions. Other programs will be different - just look in the help section if it's not obvious. If you don't
already have podcasting software, and you don't want to or can't use iTunes,
there's loads of free ones available - have a look here
Most podcasting
software will let you specify whether it should check for updates by itself
or wait for your permission (these settings are in the preferences menu
in iTunes).
So if you're not getting new shows downloaded automatically, it's probably
just that your podcasting software needs to be told that it's OK to do
things on its own. Again, look in the help section for instructions specific
to your software. |
